Do you offer hourly or half day rentals?
No, at this time we only offer full day rentals.
What about Insurance?
We do not offer insurance to the renter. You are not required to have insurance on the watercraft. If this is something you do want, please look into your own insurance policies, sometimes they will cover a watercraft rental.
How old do I have to be to rent?
The person renting has to be 21+ and has to be the one to sign the waiver, pick up, and drop off.
Can I pay with cash?
You must use a credit card or debit card for the rental which will also include a security deposit when you pick up the watercraft.
What constitutes a rental day?
Our rental day is from 7:00am – 8:00pm. Any other pickup/drop-off times may be available upon request.
Where are you located?
We are located at 6692 South Carson Circle,West Jordan, Utah. (This is a residential area)
What happens if it’s windy or raining?
Weather is unpredictable, especially at Lake Powell, and it can change from one moment to the next. Your safety is our number one concern. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel any rental, at or prior to check-in time, due to weather concerns, at OUR SOLE DISCRETION. You will be fully refunded for the time we have canceled OR given your rental credit towards a different day. Anytime after the wave runner is on the water, if the weather is to change (which it frequently does) we do NOT offer refunds due to those changing weather conditions.
What happens if I return the boat late?
Everyone is given an extra 15 minute forgiveness period on returns. If you are later than 15 minutes we will charge you $50 per hour until the machines are returned.
What ages are required to wear life jackets (PFD)?
It is the law that children ages 12 and underwear a life jacket at all times. Adults OR ages 12 and above are required to have a life jacket onboard the machines at all times but do not have to wear them while underway.
Will life jackets be provided?
We will provide 2 complimentary life jackets.
Do you need to fill the boat with fuel? What kind of fuel does the wave runner take?
The boat is full of fuel when you pick it up for your rental and YES, you do need to return it full of fuel. Wave runners operate on unleaded fuel.
What if I can’t pull or tow the boat myself?
Under special circumstances, we may be able to deliver to your desired location outside of the lake premises, for a delivery fee. Delivery fees vary based on miles traveled. Contact us at info@jetspeedrentals.com or by phone at +1 (435) 619-2555.
How do I make a reservation?
You can easily make a reservation online by clicking on the boat rental you’d like and following the prompts or contact us by phone at +1 (435) 619-2555 OR email at info@jetspeedrentals.com and one of our staff will assist you.
Are there any additional fees with the rental price?
Yes, in addition to the daily rental rate there is a $500 refundable security deposit, and sales tax. All fees and deposits are due at the time of pick up; if your balance is not paid in full we will not send the rental out with you. Entering the park the watercraft is already paid for, but you will be responsible for obtaining a park pass for the vehicle towing it.
What is your cancellation policy?
Customers must call +1 (435) 619-2555 or +1 (801) 381-5308 email us at info@jetspeedrentals.com to cancel their reservation with us! No refunds for early returns. There will be no refund if you cancel the day of your reservation. You will have the chance for a full refund if canceled 14 days prior to your scheduled booking. If you want to cancel after the 14 day period, you may transfer that booking to another available date. If you transfer to a future date, where rates may have changed, we will honor the original rate of the original booking.
